Diagnostics revealed a faulty defrost thermostat, which was causing inconsistent cooling.
Solution:
– Replaced the defrost thermostat to restore proper temperature regulation.
– Confirmed full defrost cycle and cooling operation after the repair.
Follow-Up – Mid-April 2025
In mid-April 2025, Richard contacted us again with the same issue: fridge not maintaining the proper temperature, though the thermostat was operating properly this time.
We provided a free recall visit to investigate the recurring issue.
Solution:
– Diagnosed and replaced the refrigerator temperature control board, which had failed and was preventing consistent cooling in the fridge compartment.
Result
With the control board replaced and the thermostat confirmed functional, the fridge side is now maintaining optimal temperature. The unit is operating normally, and the homeowner was satisfied with the follow-up and resolution.
